Our rental instruments come either new or used, they are all ready to play & come with the following accessories, Instrument – Case – Bow (Shoulder-rests & Rosins are not included).

A brief summary of Rental conditions:

For our instruments the minimum term of hire is THREE months, except Cello’s which the minimum term is SIX months, thereafter we offer automatic renewal should you choose to do so. If you opt for automatic renewal, the term of additional hire will be on a continuous THREE/SIX month basis, until either you or MP Violins give at least TWO weeks notice of termination of renewal.

We offer FREE maintenance on our rental instruments, our instruments are made of wood, which expands and contracts with heat or humidity. Because of this, they need to be adjusted several times a year to maximize sound quality and play ability. It is highly recommended that you bring your instrument to us every THREE months for free maintenance. Our free maintenance program does not cover string replacements, repairs to correct abuse or misuse or bow re-hairing (you must take care of the instrument).

Furthermore should you wish to purchase the instrument your renting or another new instrument, we also provide you with the opportunity to accumulate equity to buy the instrument after the rental term is up. Should you wish to change the instrument to a bigger size after rental term (in the case of smaller instruments to large), equity will carry on to the next instrument too!

To book your appointment & to sign the contract, all you need to do is to bring a passport or I.D. & a utility bill for proof of residence to our store MP Violins.
